Most skincare brands sell products. I wanted to show what it feels like to fall in love with one. I came across this skincare brand on Instagram and imagined what a premium ad for them could look like. Something that doesn't just sell skincare, but makes you feel the experience, the quality, and w

Here's a tip, I wish I had implemented sooner in my videos. Sometime in August, I got really invested in Hooks. Visual Hooks were a major part of that, and I have been perfecting a system on visual hooks, to tryout for your cinematic video ads, UGC content and films. I have been experimenting wit

This is what the basics of AI advertising should look like. We worked on this in class over two sessions, and this is what my students and I came up with. Nothing too sophisticated. I was teaching them the fundamentals. But even at the basic level, your work should be good enough to make people l

If you can't explain why something works, you probably shouldn't ask AI to replicate it yet. Before I made this skincare UGC video, I spent days watching skincare UGC. Not to copy anyone's video. I wanted to understand the format. I started paying attention to everything. The framing. The composi

YouTube automation is about to become an editorial problem, not a production problem. I’ve been exploring 2D editorial animation lately, and I’m genuinely excited about where this could go. Not just for product ads — although I really want to test this style there. I’m more interested in what it

AI video is no longer just for making pretty pictures. It can make people want to buy. You can sell almost anything with AI video. The goal isn't just to make it aesthetic. It's to make people WANT the thing. This Gymshark spec was made with Omni Flash in @flowbygoogle. @Gymshark I approached it

I spent 300+ credits fighting an AI model over a cereal commercial. And the AI won. 🤦🏾‍♂️ No, seriously. It's a harmless 3D ad for a non-sponsored cereal brand... For @NascoCornflakes my very good friends. Yet after hundreds of credits, @FlowbyGoogle keeps hitting me with: “This might violate o

Omni Flash is dangerously close to becoming the model you outgrow before you master it. And I say that as someone who just burned a ridiculous amount of credits pushing it way past what I thought it could do. I wanted to see if I could use Omni Flash to build a realistic UGC-style beard grooming v

The hardest part of making AI videos isn't generating the first result. It's knowing why it isn't good enough. We talk a lot about creative direction, clean visuals, cinematic shots, prompting and references. But one thing we don't talk about enough is critical thinking and problem solving. This i
