👇$2.80 is what this 30-second Seedance 2.5 shot cost me to generate AND IT LOOKS GOOD 😤, here's how: Generate at 480p, then upscale to 4K in Topaz. Here's what the exact same clip costs at higher resolutions, next to 480p: 480p: $2.80 (in credits) 720p: $5.93 1080p: $13.33 All three end up at 4K after Topaz anyhow, but full transparency: you will lose sharpness the lower the resolution of the original generation when its upscaled, so know what you want to prioritize. There are certain dials and models you can use to crank up sharpness, but it may be too much on your system or the output may look too synthetic. Topaz costs the same flat monthly rate whether you run five clips through it or five hundred. I can't recommend the monthly, local software version enough(not sponsored). You could keep a full production well under $100 or produce it for even cheaper using this method(not counting the clips that will inevitably mess up). We'll be doing a price breakdown for the 20+ minute 'Book of Moses' episode we did; using foresight, we'll talk about how we could have cut back on cost! 🧠 Note: [Pricing is what I pay on one of our platforms. Rates vary, so run your own numbers.]
