I launched a new app called LockFeed. Let's see how much revenue I can get to if I leverage my whole 2.3M subscribers on YouTube. LockFeed helps you reduce your screen time by quizzing you on something you care about before you scroll. Like for me, it's the guitar fretboard. This is Episode 4 of 10K or Bust. In this video I pivoted from my AI portrait making app to this more simple screen time app. What I've learned: - Meta Ads Manager is so cumbersome to use. Just ask Codex with Computer Use to do it for you. - You can look at your competitors Meta ads they're running, so you can just copy it. Higgsfield SuperComputer, who sponsored this video, taught me that. - These super simple apps charge $50/year or more, which is why they can afford to spend so much on ads. A lot of them should just be replaced by cheaper alternatives. Like Opal charges $239/year??? - I got rejected 5 times from the App Store, and I thought it was because of my predatory app design. But it's actually just because I didn't check a box for the Family Controls certificate... And App Store review is so ambiguous they wouldn't tell me.
