We played around with a few different ways to use AI to create entirely new camera angles from existing footage, and some worked way better than others. We tested three different approaches using Seedance 2.5 inside @magnific: 1. Automatic coverage: Give AI a wide shot and let it generate new camera angles on its own. 2. Add timecodes: Tell AI exactly when you want it to cut to a new angle. 3. Do it manually: Pull out a few seconds of footage and generate the exact close-up, tracking shot, or alternate angle you need. Then stitch it together. That last approach was definitely the winner. Giving Seedance shorter clips and telling it exactly what angle we wanted helped keep the original action way more consistent. It’s still not perfect, but being able to take any existing footage, whether it’s live-action or AI-generated, and create entirely new coverage from it is pretty wild.
