My XPRIZE Future Vision submission is finally taking shape. This isn’t the trailer. It’s the 10-second cold open that plays before the trailer. A rapid-fire sequence of the biggest, most intriguing moments, then… cut to black, studio logo, and the real 3-minute trailer begins. I won’t lie, hitting “Post” on this gave me a serious adrenaline rush. I’ve spent months building this, and it’s still probably not even the final version. But I’ve realized it’s better to put work into the world, learn, iterate, and keep pushing than wait for “perfect.” The color grade, edit, pacing, sound design, and even some of the shots will change. There’s still a mountain of work ahead. The exciting milestone is that every shot is now complete. From here, it’s all about crafting the strongest possible 3-minute trailer for the competition.
